This article provides a complete overview of the languages supported by SimCapture’s automatic transcription feature. Because transcription capabilities vary by language, the Transcription Language Support Matrix helps you quickly determine which languages can be used for single‑language transcription, and which also support multi‑language transcription within the same session.

Use this reference when configuring transcript settings for scenarios, events, or sessions to ensure you select languages that are fully supported. The matrix is designed to make system behavior predictable, prevent unsupported configurations, and help you choose the best transcription options for your environment.

How to Use This Table

The Transcription Language Support Matrix helps you quickly determine which languages can be used for transcript generation in SimCapture. Use the table as a reference when configuring session settings, creating scenarios, or planning multilingual simulations.

1. Locate the Language You Need
Browse or search the table to find the language used in your simulation environment. Languages are listed alphabetically for easy scanning.

2. Review the Language Code
Each language includes a language code that aligns with SimCapture’s transcription configuration. This is helpful when matching system settings or referencing technical documentation.

3. Check Single‑Language Support
The Single‑Language column indicates whether the language can be used as the primary transcription language. A checkmark (✓) means the language fully supports single‑language transcription.

4. Check Multi‑Language Support (If Needed)
If you plan to transcribe multiple spoken languages in the same session, review the Multi‑Language column.

  • A checkmark (✓) means the language supports multi‑language transcription and can detect additional supported languages.
  • An empty box means multi‑language transcription is not supported for that language.

5. Choose a Compatible Configuration

  • If your selected primary language does not support multi‑language transcription, the system will disable additional‑language options.
  • If it does support multi‑language transcription, you can select additional languages from the compatible subset shown in the matrix.

6. Use the Matrix to Prevent Errors
The matrix helps you avoid unsupported combinations that may lead to unreliable or incomplete transcripts. Always check compatibility here before finalizing transcription settings.
