SimCapture Enterprise provides powerful reporting tools that allow administrators to track learner progress, analyze evaluation data, and export detailed course reports. This guide walks you through how to access and use course reporting features effectively.
Accessing Course Reporting
Administrators with the appropriate permissions can access course reports in two main ways:
From the Calendar Page:
- View reports related to Reservation Count and Reservation Time.
- Apply filters such as:
- Month
- Location
- Organization
- Course
- User
- Simulator
When exported to Excel, report labels appear in your local language, and usernames are formatted as Last Name, First Name, Middle (if applicable).
From the Course Page:
- Click Courses in the global navigation bar.
- Select the course you want to view.
- Scroll to the Results pod.
- Click View Reports.
Understanding the Results Pod
The Results pod provides a quick visual overview of evaluation scores and learner progress:
- Hover over the graph to see how many learners fall within each score range.
- View average scores and standard deviation at a glance.
- Apply filters to narrow down results by:
- Scenarios
- Evaluations
- Question Categories
- Date
Course Score Report
The Course Scores report includes data from all evaluations within a course. Here's how to access it:
- Navigate to the Results section of the course.
- Click View Reports.
What You’ll See:
- Range of Scores graph
- Participant names, scores, and percentages (based on completed items)
- Quick Stats: overall course percentage and standard deviation
Filters:
- Scenario – Filter by specific scenarios
- Evaluation – Filter by evaluations within selected scenarios
- Question Category – Filter by question types
- Date – Filter by evaluation submission date
Note: Evaluations with a score of zero that are submitted will still be included in overall score calculations.
Exporting Reports
Click Download as Excel to choose between:
- Gradebook Report – Summary of learner scores
- Raw Data Export – Detailed data for all evaluations
When exporting full course data, each tab in the Excel file will be named after the scenario title (limited to 31 characters).
